But with Soma di's encouragement and motivation, and immense help and support from all the super qualified members of their support team, it became an unforgettable experience of our life. Not only adventure trips but also family vacations organized by Somas Camps are impeccable. Like the Chisang trip that I went to with my parents gave us not only a lovely peaceful vacation, but also a good number of local sightseeings with perfect utilization of our limited time. For the record, the food was also really satisfying. And a huge added bonus was the midnight star gazing at 3am where Soma di herself gave us a crash course on constellations. Of course it wasn't mandatory, but I'm glad I joined. The star strewn sky, being able to identify some of the constellations that we've heard so much about, knowing the difference between a young, mature and dying star.. everything was so beautifully overwhelming. An all time perk is Soma di's lovely friendly persona and her vast knowledge about a lot of random stuffs which makes just chatting with her on the way simply worth it. I have recommended Somas Camps to many of my friends and I look forward to more trips with them in the future.

From that day the process had started. I was so excited when the day for trekking was announced. Registration and other formalities were done promptly. Soma madam helped us a lot. We had to cross a couple of rivers during low tide on barefoot. It was wonderful experience. We were walking through land kingdom of red crabs and birds. There were hardly any people on the beaches. We reached Dagara on the evening. We stayed there at a hotel. Day 3 was a bit relaxing. We had to cross Subarnarekha River on boat. Our end point was at Talsari. We spent the night at OTDC hotel. The room and food was wonderful. We went to Digha on the morning of 23 December and took bus to return home. Our trek lead Rana and his assistant Anasuya helped us a lot. Aryan was my roommate on every occasion. Shukla Di, Sona Di, Bidisha were also with us. We had really nice time together. Want to go to trekking with the same team in future.
